Unsure of weight/dimensions

We understand that often you simply don't know the dimensions and weights of the items you are trying to move. Often you have not even seen the item let alone weighed/measured it.

That is not a problem here at Shiply! When you get to the step when listing your shipment and it requests weights/dimensions, simply enter a best guess. It doesn't matter if you're way off as transport providers generally have a very good idea, especially if you have also uploaded a photo.

To alert transport providers that your set dimensions/weight are not accurate it may be helpful to add that at the end of the item description. This will alert transport providers they should exercise caution if they are uncertain whether the goods will fit in their vehicle.

We advise that you discuss the dimensions with the transport provider beforehand to confirm and to avoid any confusion.
