Why can't I speak directly to the transport provider?

You can communicate directly with the transport provider via the Shiply messaging system prior to accepting any quotes.  This is useful for asking any questions you may have about their service or date availability etc.


However, you cannot exchange direct contact information such as phone numbers or email addresses until you accept a quote.  This helps protect both parties involved and ensures that all transactions are logged in the system correctly, enabling you to leave feedback and help future customers.


Once you have accepted a quote your contact details will be exchanged with to the transport provider and you will of course be able to speak directly to make final arrangements.
